Peer Review Process

Manuscripts submitted to CURRENT: Jurnal Kajian Akuntansi dan Bisnis Terkini undergo a two-stage review process, consisting of a pre-review and a substantive peer review.

The pre-review stage is conducted by the editorial team to assess the manuscript’s compliance with the journal’s aims and scope as well as its editorial guidelines. All submitted manuscripts are also subjected to plagiarism screening using Turnitin. The pre-review process typically takes approximately one week.

The substantive review is conducted through a double-blind peer review process. The review period generally takes 2–4 weeks. Reviewers may request a re-review after the authors have revised their manuscripts, if deemed necessary.

The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on the recommendations provided by the reviewers.

Manuscripts that have been accepted and formatted will be published in the In Progress issue prior to the scheduled regular issue, enabling early indexing and citation.


Publication Frequency

CURRENT: Jurnal Kajian Akuntansi dan Bisnis Terkini publishes three issues per year, in March, July, and November. Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts at least two months prior to the publication period, preferably before February or August.


Open Access Policy

CURRENT provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a broader global exchange of knowledge. All accepted articles are published online and may be freely accessed and downloaded from the CURRENT journal portal.


Article Processing Charges

There are no submission fees for manuscripts submitted to CURRENT, including fees for editorial processing. However, an article publication fee is charged once a manuscript has been accepted for publication. The publication fee is IDR 850,000 per article.

Readers may access abstracts and download full-text articles (PDF) free of charge under the journal’s open access policy.
